A few facets –

I'm fascinated by the beauty of the weave we are all a part of, the design inherent in everything from macro to micro, from individual incarnation to the whole cosmos. Even in chaos and difficulty, I remain astounded (moved, transported, transfixed) by the beautiful design of it all.

Design is my work and my play as well. Professionally I'm a graphic designer. In my downtime, in between reading and researching, I'm usually inventing pretty things – photography, sewing, paper arts, tie dye, whatever i'm into that day… I like to bring beauty, love and spirit into my life and the lives of others via whatever I'm moved to create in life and in myself.

I'm a dreamer and an idealist (yet willing to work hard for dreams and ideals). I'm interested in being part of a critically needed shift, in growing/improving/opening myself while joining others who want to affect our world and help guide others toward compassion, responsibility and living a life that is awake and attuned to Love.

Ultimately I want to devote as close to 100% of my time, energy and resources to this as is possible. I want to help those who are seeking to live outside of the current system. I want to be involved (literally, not just virtually) with communities of people who share these priorities and values, who see through a metaphysical lens to a seemingly 'supernatural' reality which is really simply our common, natural birthright, and who want to offer to each other and the world their gifts and their love.

Looking further in –

As for the rest about me – what really defines my heart and soul – I have a difficult time finding words. Beyond my love for divine design, there is a love for divine Love (what Rumi calls the Friend). I taste it, feel it passionately, want to live in that ocean and be a vessel of it as well. Simultaneously, the journey for me is also to keep learning to be a real companion to the Divine, to go beyond the ecstasy of identying with the poetic and to really become the chickpea who doesn't try to jump out of the boiling pot (or who at least jumps back in!). 

To grow into what I desire to be, I still have a long way to go… but I'm happy and grateful to experience the bliss of the process.

Astro-facets –  last-degree Capricorn sun, Libra moon, Aries ascendant with conjunct Saturn sitting guard, 9th house Sagittarian Venus. Mars and progressed Sun/Moon in Pisces, and a natal stellium of outer planets + Moon in the 6th.
